What is Practical Reiki?

Reiki was discovered in Japan in 1922, the Japanese symbols Rei means “guided” and Ki means “life force energy”. Practical Reiki is a combination of Reiki energy and Kundalini energy. Reiki energy is considered spiritual or life force energy and Kundalini is healing earth energy. Practical Reiki is given to naturally release stress, relieve pain, heal faster, shed emotional baggage, and gain an awareness of your mind-body-spirit connection. You can experience improvements in your physical and emotional health from your very first session. Reiki is complementary to any medical treatment or therapy that you are currently involved in and is equally effective when given in person, distance or queued. Reiki can help to dissolve stress, release pain, lighten your emotions, increase optimism, and give you a deep sense of well-being.

How does Reiki healing feel?

Reiki healing sessions are a personal experience but typically most people report feelings of absolute relaxation, peaceful bliss, colors, tingles, or heat. Feeling or sensing the energy make it a more validating experience, however you can be assured you will receive the Reiki whether you are able to sense the energy or not.

Bio scanning is a technique I used to get a sense of the places that energy is being received, blocked, or where pain or issues may be located.



Chakra Testing

Chakras are energy processing centers located throughout the body. I test the 7 major charkas to determine the health of your chakra system. Health of the chakras can affect us both physically and emotionally.



Reflexology

I provide a mini reflexology foot massage. Reflexology is a massage that applies pressure to certain areas or reflexes on the foot or hand that correspond to specific areas of the body. The technique is used to unblock channels and restore health and function.


Our Energy System

Science tells us that in addition to water, bones, muscles, and organs, we are made up of energy. Each thought we have creates an electrical impulse, and even our heart’s electrical activity can be measured. We receive positive energy from laughter, sunlight, being with positive people, meditation, and many other sources. We can also give our energy away by thinking negatively, eating poorly, surrounding ourselves with people or situations that are negative, Energy can also become blocked or stagnant due to traumatic experiences or unresolved issues. Leaving the energy system weak or depleted over time can create physical, mental, or emotional symptoms.
