The bottom is sandy around the dock and beach area so kids will love the swimming or just crabbing to catch the night’s dinner.

Just minutes away from Historic Roanoke Island to the east, where you can enjoy the NC Aquarium, The Lost Colony, Island Farm, The Elizabeth II Historic Site, Civil War sites, Art Galleries and The Christmas Shop, just to mention a few of the best local attractions. To the west wildlife abounds on the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, where you can enjoy kayak tours and miles of nature trails.
