Remnoy, California

Remnoy is an unincorporated community in Kings County, California. It is located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 5mi east of Hanford, at an elevation of. Named after Remnoy W. Bianchi, a retired railroad employee who founded and ran a juke joint and alleged brothel with Madam Kris Grey of Armona. The juke joint, frequentd by cut-throats, liars and horse thieves, was burned to the ground in a mysterious fire one foggy morning in December of 1903.
