Human Trafficking is defined as the illegal enterprise of obtaining, holding, and selling of persons in “compelled services” for the expressed purpose of personal and/or, but not limited to, financial gain. It is a worldwide epidemic that is misunderstood, under-emphasized, and largely ignored; however, both national and international communities contribute to it willingly and unwillingly through the commercial consumption of pornography, prostitution, drug transport, and human transport.
Rescue 1 Global is a 21st century abolitionist movement combating slavery and human trafficking on a global scale by educating and mobilizing communities toward the prevention, rescue, and restoration of the vulnerable, victimized, and vagabond.
