Rescue City

Rescue City began when a few Brooklyn, New York natives, became inspired with a mission to protect and improve the lives of helpless animal in need. Together they have over 30 years of animal experience, and in that time they were witness to some unfortunate realities, hidden from the public’s eyes. The overcrowding in the shelter system is out of control and euthanasia rates were alarmingly high. A plan was devised out to save lives and educate the public. The founders of Rescue City believe they can bring about change to the industry, and help the public by providing the appropriate knowledge needed to make a proper decision on the best way to acquire a pet. By choosing to adopt a pet you are partnering with us to become a part of the solution rather than a part of the problem.

Our adoption process is thorough, but hassle free. Our selection of adoptable pets is as large as those being offered everywhere else. We rescue small to large breeds, including purebreds, as well as designer varieties. The adoption fees are a fraction of the average retail price, and best of all, your donation will help to support and extend our mission to save more precious lives from suffering.
