Vision Statement:

We envision a place with people working together, to learn how to be affective in the Osceola community. Wanting to get involved and be productive in life. Learning how to give back, and teach others what they learn here.

The first step is showing them who God is by loving them where they are with understanding and his love for them.

Showing them that the way they see themselves is a lie, and that Jesus sees them in a whole different light. He sees what he created and how they were as children before the world tore them down emotionally, and physically. Restoration Ministry can show them the truth of who they really are inside by giving them freedom, and healing.

Working together, they will learn that there are others like them that understand what they are going through. When you get so low in life from incarceration, drug addiction, gambling, alcoholism, and abuse, that you see no way out of your situation, God always has a way. We want to give them the leg up they need to climb out of that place one step at a time. Taking care of them until they are able to stand strong by relying on God themselves, without further help. Ultimately wanting them to remain friends and want help others from the experience they had here. It is the idea that people want to help others and be productive in life, fulfilling the idea that all of us have a purpose on this earth, and are valued and needed.

God is a mighty God and has no limits in what he can accomplish in all of our lives if we let him. We are giving back because we have been there and are the result of Gods undying love for us. The world had written us off, but with the help of God moving on our behalf, we are what we are today. We understand the idea of helplessness and no way out. We understand wanting to run away because there is no other option. We understand no one wanting to hire you, or wanting to let you rent or buy a house because of past mistakes. We understand family and friends disowning you because of the bad choices you made and not trusting you anymore. Only God can fix a list of problems like that. We are a living breathing testimony of all of that.

The housing aspect of Restoration Ranch is for persons or families that have no place to go. We don't like the idea of homelessness in this community. It can't be allowed. We are also wanting to help those that have homes, but want the help we provide. Giving them jobs if they are jobless and have no hope of getting a job because of criminal records or a handicap of any kind. We have a huge dream here that will set this community apart by taking care of our own, and teaching other communities to do the same. There is no excuse for there to be homeless in our country. It is time that the church community takes the steps necessary to remedy the situation that has plagued us for so long. It should not be the government's responsibility. The church has fallen down on its duty. It isn't enough to feed the homeless and send them back into the street. We talk about education, but we don't educate people how to live the productive life God intended us to have.

The farming is to be able to feed those who need fed fresh vegetables, and also be able to help fund this place. Giving people jobs by working on the farm, and selling the goods. We have a pantry of canned goods that are donated, but this would give them fresh food as well. We want to be a place for all to be fed healthy food. We want to have a fitness center to teach people how to be healthy and give them the equipment to take care of themselves. Not everyone can afford to go to the Gym. When a person is proactive in their physical body there is less sickness and disease. God's people shouldn't be ill. God is life and power, and we are no longer living under the curse because we have faith in who God, and his word (Jesus) says he is.

We desire to work with like minded organizations in the community to stand in unity with the same goal and purpose. We feel that the bible tells us to work together and stop worrying about different takes on Theology. This has hindered Gods people in a great way. We all want to spread the good news, so let's concentrate on that, and helping people to see the truth of a relationship with God. It's not about religion, but knowing what the bible says and applying it to our lives because Jesus lives. He desires a relationship with us, and wants to be our friend. This is a healing factor for all of us. Unity is a wonderful thing for all to succeed in all that we do.

Learning Gods word through reading and teachings is how we get strong and remain that way. We feel that this is the greatest thing for all of us to learn. We will provide a solid foundation through this fact. The foundation will only be strong if you learn what God says about all situations. He is our strength, and he is our foundation. People need to know that none of us are perfect. God doesn't expect us to be perfect, because he knows our flaws and loves us anyway. Knowing this gives you a freedom because in him there is no condemnation. We all fall because we are human. People need to know that he is glorified because of our flaws. He changes us from the inside out, and only he can change a heart.

The need for private rooms is obvious. This is not an institution, and people need time to themselves. This is voluntary, and we want people to feel the respect we have for them and their privacy. For many this will be total life change, which is a lot to take in already. It can be stressful, and they need a place to shut down and regroup. We all need alone time.

A Library is needed so we can make teachings and books available to individuals so they can have them in the privacy of their rooms, or in the common rooms. It is their choice on which they prefer. We will still have classes and group times, but we also understand that quiet time between them and the Lord is vital to their growth. It is a healing time, and can result in revelation for them personally.

Many of the people we will be helping will have children. We need to have a playground for them and a children's ministry to teach them while they are young. Using Restoration Ministry to heal any hurts they may have. If the family does this together it will make the foundation stronger for the whole family. They will be sharing the experience and it is always a wonderful thing to have your loved ones with you.

Daycare is essential for parents to leave their children so they can work and/or go to bible studies. This way they can concentrate on what they are learning. This will also give the parents peace of mind and a sense of security. Day care is expensive and hard to pay for when you are just starting out.

We need to get back to basics with a serving mentality so all can benefit from all that is offered here. The entire purpose is to empower the hurting to a place of peace and confidence in God, themselves, and learn to trust others once again.
