Retire in Time

Dr. Jack Best is a LEGACY CONSULTANT. He works with professional personal service advisers to move their clients into the second half of life. He intervenes at the tipping point with business owners, senior executives and professionals in private practice to motivate clients to get their business transition plans into place. Jack advocates with single clients that they "retire in time" for the second half of life, that legacy-building period when they can make a difference for their families, their communities, their church, their world. Jack implemented his own succession plan in 2007 and completed its transition in 2011. Now in his own second half of life, he continues his own difference-making in those spheres.

Dr. Jack Best is a charismatic retiree who is at ease as a platform speaker and workshop facilitator at local, regional and national meetings of executives and professionals.

Jack is a long-time Rotarian. He is a Past Director of Rotary International. He was Vice-Chair of the Rotary Peace Centers Major Gifts Initiative Committee, to establish a $125 Million endowment to fund its 100 annual Peace Scholars. Jack founded Best Times Financial Planning in 1982. His professional designations included Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter. He earned a Doctorate in Educational Administration from the State University of New York in Buffalo in 1972.
