Class descriptions and requirements-
Gym 1- For ages 3 & 4 yrs. old- If your child is 3 or 4 yrs. old, he/she will be in this class- no exceptions. This class is designed specifically for children who are 3 & 4 yrs. old. Basic gymnastics progressions are taught in a fun and safe format.
Gym 1- For ages 5 and up. Beginning level gymnastics. Basic progressions and proper techniques are taught. Just because a child can do a cartwheel, or a handstand does not mean she is doing it correctly.
Gym 2- Students must have a PERFECTLY executed handstand, cartwheel, and a good bridge.
Gym 3- Students must have an excellent handstand, a flawless right and left cartwheel, a back limber, and a pull over on bars.
Level 4 Training Team- students must have a standing back handspring in addition to most of the Level 4 skills.
Level 4- Students must have a standing back handspring, a round off back handspring, and the required Level 4 skills.
Level 5 & up- must be evaluated by Carly in order to be placed in correct level. Typically a gymnast will have mastered her level, and be working a Level above. For example, a Level 5 will have a kip 100% of the time on bars, and be working a cast handstand, free-hip handstand, and a fly-away.
Tumbling- students will learn the proper progressions for building a strong tumbling foundation. The main focus is on correct technique and execution. The goal is for students to learn a variety of tumbling skills including back handsprings and round-off backhandsprings.
Advanced Tumbling- student are required to have a round off back handspring back tuck or more.
NEW! Cheer Class- this class is designed to provide a strong foundation for any cheerleader. Students will work on tumbling, motions, stunting, and learn basic cheers in a fun and structured environment.
Boys Class- For boys who want to learn fundamental gymnastics skills.
