Your dog loves you - no doubt about it. But most dogs want just one thing. To be around other dogs. That is what we do best. At Rex's Place, our enrichment dog daycare has a mission: We want to stimulate and enrich the lives of the dogs who visit us by providing them with a stress free home away from home experience. But just like at home, we have expectations. We are not just a place for dogs to run off excess energy. Rather, we have a unique socialization and enrichment program that creates a a positive experience in neutral territory. And that reaps benefits We can reach and engage dogs on three levels: social, physical and emotional. Obedience practices play a big role in our every day routine. We challenge every dog 's ability to adapt, thrive, gain confidence and develop into a social, mindful and content canine companion. Dogs are taught to respect one another (and staff), understand their imitations and the limitations of others so that they can co-exist with dogs of other sizes and breeds. At Rex's Place, dogs will learn to play, chase, stop, come, rest and wait politely at the door until their name is called for a walk of lunch.
