RHIT Dance Company

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is usually known for its high quality Engineering degrees, but our goal is to bring creative variety into the logical sphere of the campus.

The company was originally founded as the Rose-Hulman Dance Team in 2000 by a small group of female students. The main goal was to be known, not only throughout the Rose-Hulman community but throughout the Terre Haute community as well.

Our company is formed of dancers from various background with training in styles from hip-hop to classical ballet, tap to jazz.

In 2014, we recommitted our company to its original goals under new direction. We have revamped our club to encourage dancers of all age, men and women, to try new styles of dance.

This year we are starting simply, performing at community variety shows and the Homecoming 2014 football game. Our performance repertoire will continue to expand to basketball games by the 2016 season as well as our own sponsored dance competition in fall 2015!

We're excited to see what's in store for the Rose-Hulman Dance Company in the future!
