It is built on a foundation of relatives, relationships, and rescue of all kind. Beginning with all my gratitude to my husband Robert and our five amazing children, they are where all the joy and fun spill from. My father and co-heart in all nearly “dead” revivals. The Harder the revival, the better is the treasure! My Grandma’s DNA and inspiration on so many levels. She raised 16 children and was probably the most resourceful woman I have ever had the privilege of loving. Next my mother who taught me to rescue everything! The snatch of batter at the bottom of the bowl, the spider in the windowsill, the old pink piano, and the child sitting alone. Together we are “R (our) house”, to inspire, to share our treasures, vintage finds, and rescued junk with all those who see something wonderful in old, rusty, chippy, bent, tattered or broken.
