Richfield Joint Recreation District, Ohio

Welcome to the Richfield Joint Recreation District Page. This is the only official page of the district. In July 2014, the Richfield Joint Recreation District (RJRD) was formed to preserve, maintain and operate the park-like properties within the Village and Township limits, to benefit the residents and surrounding communities of Richfield, Ohio. Residents from both the Village and the Township were selected for the 7 Board of Trustee positions. Together, the RJRD Board of Trustees hope to preserve natural properties in Richfield by:
1. Identifying potential properties that would offer outdoor opportunities to foster educational, historical and recreational activities to protect the value and investments in our community;
2. Develop, implement and operate long-term recreation plans that are sustainable and accessible to the community;
3. Operate a collaborative initiative with the Residents of Richfield to maintain the rural residential environment the community desires.
