With this new dealership, Rick Case became America’s largest dealer within the first month the dealership opened by selling 734 new Honda cars. No stranger to setting records, Rick Case made history again in August 2003 setting the national record for the most new Honda cars sold in one month, totaling 1,222 – a record he still currently holds. In December 2005, Rick Case set another national record that still stands today by selling 614 new Honda motorcycles in one month – the most ever sold in one month. Rick Case Honda in Fort Lauderdale, FL features a 600,000 sq. ft. facility that includes 1,500 new Hondas on display inside under showroom lights. A Pneumatic tube system for customer convenience sends keys to six floors, the showroom, the used car department and service facility. Rick Case Honda also offers an eight-pump discount gas station, a self-serve free car wash, defibrillators, and during local and national elections, the showroom transforms into two voting precincts for 3,800 people. A County Clerk of Courts Office in the dealership offers marriage license applications, traffic citation payments, reinstatement of driver’s licenses and driver history, and a Chapel for wedding ceremonies. The dealership also has a café which serves breakfast, lunch and snacks all day and a barber shop with two full-time barbers.
