RIO East Church

RIO East Church is a church associated with the RIO Network in East Tennessee. RIO is an acronym that stands for Restoration International Outreach.

This church is a knit body of believers who come together in sincere worship to lift the name of Jesus higher each day. We are built upon four pillars: the word of God, worship, service to others, and souls being added to the Kingdom of God.

Our Pastor, Dale Buchanan, and his lovely wife Teresa Buchanan have faithfully lead this congregation since its founding in 2004.

RIO East has ministries available for all ages!

Our nursery is filled with compassionate women who care for our little ones while parents and guardians can enjoy our vibrant church services.

Children can be found in the Reign Forest on Sunday mornings learning God's word and praising with all their hearts. Our leaders will be sure to keep your children safe and show them God's love while having fun each service!

All teenagers are welcome to the X-Factor youth group on Wednesday nights at 7pm for to hear teaching and experience worship in a new way.

For ages 18-30 we have Driven, a young adult group who love to chase hard after God through worship and the Gospel. Join them on Sunday mornings for Sunday school at 9:30am or Wednesday nights at 7pm.

The SAM's Club (Senior Adult Ministry) ages 55+ have a wonderful time in the Lord on Sundays at 9:30am for Sunday School along with many other scheduled events throughout the year.

Each Sunday we have Sunday School classes for all ages, beginning at 9:30am. Our main worship service begins at 10:30am and our Sunday evening service starts at 6pm. Each Wednesday we hold services at 7pm (this includes a service in our main sanctuary, youth group, kids clubs, and the Driven young adults).

We also have a variety of different programs and outreach ministries such as: Extended Care (nursing home ministry), homeless ministry at KARM, children's soup kitchen, Recovery Life (for addiction), and many more.
