Rising Star Film Studios

Rising Star Film Studios is located 11 miles east of the town square in McDonough, Georgia, in the beautiful, scenic, Henry County, Georgia countryside.

It’s a natural location setting for a variety of films, from period pieces to modern day and is available upon request. The covered bridge and lake setting are also ideal for photo shoots for actor headshots, graduation photos, and engagement/wedding photos.

The studio property comprises 18.3 acres of land, both wooded and cleared. The property includes a 4-acre lake, which contains a Vermont style covered, complete with a waterfalls leading to a creek that runs through the property.

The Studio contains a 30-seat theatre, which is used for teaching a variety of acting and film classes, conducting auditions, and hosting pre-production meetings.

Rising Star Film Studios is Corporate Member of the Georgia Production Partnership (GPP) and the Henry County Chamber of Commerce.
