Garnering 30 years within a variety of service industry positions, Rita Long has remained a broker and the chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Realty Champions Inc. in Chillicothe, Ohio for the past 12 years. Coldwell Banker Realty Champions Inc. relies on Ms. Long’s forthright, honest, dependable and reliable customer service to continue providing real estate services within their regional area. Throughout the day, she manages all aspects of operations, including working with sellers to list their homes and buyers to purchase their homes. Ms. Long also maintains a strong knowledge of the area, including the surrounding areas of Ross County and Pike County.

Ms. Long attributes her success to sheer persistence and dedication to treating others the way she would like to be treated. After serving as a high school teacher, she and her daughter began selling real estate during summer break, found out she was a natural and stopped teaching to continue her endeavors in real estate. She received a master’s degree and a Bachelor of Arts in romance languages from The Ohio State University, is designated by The Graduate REALTOR® Institute, and a certified residential specialist. In five years, Ms. Long intends on training another person for her position to free her to work as much as she would like.

Our office was started in 1995 with 5 top selling agents and quickly became a top office in the area. As one of the owners, the change was easy and rewarding. I have been licensed since 1980 and after teaching high school for 7 years, in 1981 I became a full-time agent, won many awards, served on most Board Association Committees as chairman and all officer's positions. I am now broker/agent in our company. I still enjoy listing and selling properties and have a lot of repeat business. I know the area well having been on most county roads and am familiar with all subdivisions. I have listed and sold many properties throughout the area.
