Originally built in 1958, it was the secret love nest for heiress Audrey Emery (wife of Dimitri Pavlovich – one of the last Russian Grand Dukes) and Prince Pierre of Monaco, Duke of Valentnois. Then in the 1980's it was bought by the Swedish Count Göesta Archibald Douglas, Chairman of Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in NY and his wife Countess Margareta C.H. Douglas.
