River Dog Paddle Co

Rome, GA a is a great small town. At the heart of downtown is Broad Street, our Main Street - which is among "America's Greatest Main Streets" and runs along the Oostanaula River. The convergence of the Oostanaula and the Etowah River in downtown Rome form the Coosa River. There are beautiful walking bridges where pedestrians can get a bird's eye view of the river below. River Dog Paddle Co is bringing the river itself to life and introducing Rome to Stand Up Paddle Boarding.

Our shop is coming soon, with a front door that opens right onto Broad Street and backs up to the town green where Downtowners enjoy block parties and live music - just steps away from the River. River Dog Paddle Co is bringing Stand Up Paddle Boarding to Rome in a great space filled with gear, boards and good times.

Carrying a broad line of surf style clothes, a full arsenal of gear and amazing boards and paddles - our goal is to be open on Friday, November 28th to kick off the Holiday shopping season right.

Beyond a shop and beyond a lifestyle, we are combining our passion for Stand Up Paddle Boarding with our love for dogs. We are partnering with local rescue groups to help further their efforts in helping abused, neglected animals find loving homes.
