History:
Pastor George Downs starts Flat Rock Church at Maple Creek in Neville,Ohio in 1939. From '39 to '52 it travels to Moscow's upper room of the Lodge Building, a house, and Moscow's Town Hall building before purchasing land just outside town on U.S.52 where the church still is located. The original building is still in use. The sanctuary is used as the adult Sunday school room, and the rest is used for class rooms for the kids.
In 1988 under Pastor Denny Shannon, the new addition to the church had been added with a Fellowship Hall, class rooms, and a sanctuary that seats up to 300 people.
