Our Story
In January 2014, The River Valley Christian Fellowship began as a house church. It started with the dream of building a network of Christian fellowships that will fulfill the mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. At River Valley, people continue to glorify God in relevant worship, to care for one another through authentic fellowship, and to live out their faith as agents of God's mission in the communities and the world. Because of the growing number of people participating in weekly gathering, the River Valley Christian Fellowship has moved their gathering place at the Conference Center of The United Methodist Church in West Sacramento, CA since April 2014. Thus, RVCF has become the first UMC new faith community in the City of West Sacramento, CA. We welcome all God’s children to participate in our ministry where people are experiencing the transforming love of Jesus Christ.
