Established in 1952 as Pierce County Fire District #14, Riverside Fire & Rescue provides emergency services to the citizens, businesses and visitors of the lower Puyallup river valley, and the Puyallup tribal reservation area.
Riverside Fire & Rescue provides Fire, EMS, Rescue, Hazardous Materials investigation services out of station 74, utilizing a full time fire chief, and 40 dedicated volunteer firefighters.
Our primary response are includes 4.5 miles of SR-167 (river road) from the city limits of Puyallup to the city limits of Tacoma on the north. Pioneer Way E from Puyallup to Tacoma on the south. Our firefighters also protect the Puyallup tribal schools Chief Lecshi elementary, middle and high school.
