RMHS PTO

The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is open to all RMHS parents and guardians and provides the school with much needed financial and advisory support. The PTO meets quarterly and depends on your participation to discuss vital school issues and raise funds for student programs. Information about meeting dates and other activities will be posted on the PTO page of the school’s website, as well as the new RMHS PTO Facebook page.

The PTO requests dues of $30 per family (not per student), but they are voluntary, and we welcome any amount, larger or smaller. (Note that these are different from class dues, which support class-specific activities; more information on that should come from the class advisors.)

Please return your $30 dues in the enclosed envelope with a check made out to RMHS PTO by mail, or at Back to School Night, or drop off at the Main Office. You can also pay by credit card via PayPal using the link online or http://bit.ly/2adC6it
The PTO is a 501(c)(3) organization and dues are tax-deductible.

PTO dues provide funding for:

student agendas (provided to every student in September)
outdoor picnic tables used during lunchtime
technology (netbooks, document cameras, etc.) to help support classroom teaching
books and resource materials for the RMHS library/media center
funding for RMHS library to stay open after school
enrichment programs and speakers
scholarships for graduating seniors
career day panels
ceiling fans
staff appreciation events
additional activities to benefit all students
