Ever since I can remember, I have always had a passion for photography. When I was young, I always wanted to be on camera, or wanted to "hold" the camera. I would take pictures of everything, before I knew it, there were no more photos left to take! When we got our film developed half of the pictures would be so blurry you could barley tell what it was.

In high school I really enjoyed taking pictures. My friends and I would tell the teacher we were going out to get photos for the yearbook. We would be gone the entire 80 minute class and would come back with 5 photos for the yearbook and 50 or more of us girs goofing around. I had my own camera so I would play with the photos when I got home, crop them, make them black and white, change the color of our eyes...etc.

My fiance Zach, got me a Nikon D3200 for my birthday a few years ago. He had been telling me I needed a hobby, something that made me excited, something I could learn about and keep getting better at. He knew I had always liked photography and I love to learn new things, so it was a perfect gift!

Since then, I have upgraded to a Nikon D610 and haven't been able to put it down! I have learned so many different things from YouTube, online seminars and classes, different Facebook groups, and other local photographers. I feel like I can honestly say that I learn something new about photography everyday.

I had no idea that gift was going to be such a major part of my life. I am so glad that I found my true passion and hope that you enjoy sharing this adventure with me.
