My Jamberry Story:
I am a stay at home mom of 3 children. I have a daughter, age 4, a son age 3, and another son, almost 2. Needless to say my days are busy and my house is always hectic. Having a large family is quite expensive, and things like getting my hair and nails done have fallen to the wayside for diapers, kids clothes, food, and toys.
I have a pretty extensive collection of nail polishes that have sat for a few years almost untouched as I don't have time for paint and drying, just to turn around and have to fix a chipped nail after doing dishes or laundry later that day. I had all but given up on being able to have cute or fun nails for now. That was, until I was invited to a Jamberry party by a dear friend from high school.
At first, I really had no interest in them, no money to buy them, and was just trying to be supportive to my friend. But after having participating in the party and putting on my first sample, I was hooked. In the beginning, I had some problems with my sample, getting it to look right and not lift up or bubble. But, with the help of the consultant who ran my friend's party, we came up with a method that works for my nails. Once I got my method down, I was so excited, because I knew I wanted to be a part of the Jamberry company!
I love the fact that I can go almost 2 full weeks without my nails chipping. They can't chip, they are a vinyl covering. I love that I can have completely done nails in about 15 minutes with NO drying time. I love that I can do dishes and laundry and change diapers and cook and clean and raise 3 children, and my nail wraps not only stay on, but they still look good. I love that they are 5 free and non toxic and safe for animals and children. And one of my favorite things is that now my daughter and I can spend quality time together doing something fun and she LOVES being able to show off her jams!
If you've ever had a daughter and painted her nails, you know that to paint a 4 year old's nails and keep them polished is a never ending task. Much to my surprise, it took 19 days, yes, 19, before one wrap finally came off while she was playing. That entire time, while her nails did grow out a little bit, they still looked neat and nice.
Starting as a consultant for Jamberry was actually a little scary for me. I have never been a sales person or worked in any kind of sales, but I really do LOVE the product so much that I want to share it with everyone I meet!
Within a few hours of signing up and ordering my kit, I received an email from a wonderful woman who has since become my friend and helped through every step of the way. I have had so much support from other consultants willing to help any time there is a problem. I have made new friends and met some very interesting people and had a ton of fun doing it! It is so much easier than I thought it was going to be!
Now, I will be able to make enough money to send my daughter to dance classes, and get my sons into sports. And I get to have fun while sharing something I love with people.
