The Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office is led by Sheriff Gerald Bustos and has an authorized strength of 63 sworn Deputy Sheriffs, 59 Correctional Officers, 30 full time civilian personnel, and 30 part-time employees. The Department handles over 40,000 calls for service and warrants annually and has an advanced computer dispatch system, integrated in-car computers, and an enhanced 911 service. This is all supported by an outstanding, professional and dedicated group of men and women.
