Rocket Town Church

Rocket Town Church is a blended family that God has joined together. Rocket Town Church, started as a home bible study in 2007 and launched officially in 2010. Across town, New Venture Church was taking off as a new work on Carpenter Rd. In October of 2012, God did a miraculous thing and blended the two bodies who had been running parallel for 5 years. Joining together was like being reunited with long lost family. Pastor Steve Goodner of Rocket Town Church became the lead pastor. Pastor Pete Morrison continues as the awesome shepherd of the youth ministry, Ethos. Pastor Lisa Guy leads a spectacular children's ministry called Kid Venture which is launching some amazing lessons you won't want to miss! Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:00am with fellowship, coffee and muffins, followed by passionate praise and worship, an opportunity to give and then a relevant word of encouragement from the pastor meant to challenge us to be more like Christ. Dress up or dress down, just do it as unto the LORD! Be real, be accepted, be changed. We're finding a better way to do life and we'd be ecstatic if you'd join us! Midweek Life Groups meet at various homes throughout the week, sharing food, fun and Bible studies. It's a great way to connect and build each other up. Youth (middle and high school) meets Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. There's a lot going on: outreaches, fellowship/game nights, softball team, men's island camping, women's retreats, youth camps, vacation bible school, and more! We're family, we're growing, and you're wanted!
