Rockland Harbor Trail

The Harbor Trail promotes outdoor recreation and wellness by encouraging residents and visitors of our community to explore and appreciate the natural beauty of Rockland Harbor, its working waterfront and maritime history.

The Trail links our commercial downtown with the working waterfront providing a (peaceful walk) with scenic views, a glimpse into our maritime history and an opportunity to experience the arts and culture of our city

The 5.5 mile trail has had many major projects completed in recent years and is near linking the city’s South End (Snow Marine Park) to the north (Ferry Terminal).

Our current focus is on connecting our stunning pedestrian footbridge crossing Lindsey Brook to the Ferry Terminal. This section allow pedestrians coming from the Ferry Terminal, the north end of town, or Main Street to get an exceptional view of the water and will also encourage access to the back side of main street businesses, enhancing their value and foot traffic.
