Located within Rockwood Park (corner of Hull Street Road and Courthouse Road), Rockwood Nature Center is Chesterfield County's best kept 'secret.' Entrance is free but donations are always appreciated to help feed the animals. Stop by the next time you are in the park and say hello to our water turtles, snakes or chipmunk and find out about upcoming programs and classes to help connect you with nature and the out of doors. With activities including things like guided nature hikes, homeschool natural science classes, family campfires, archery, geocaching, birding, wilderness survival, geology, scout programs and nature-themed birthday parties, there's something for everyone going on at Rockwood Nature Center.
