Rocky Mount Prep

Rocky Mount Prep is a free, open-enrollment, college preparatory public charter school in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, with a diverse body of approximately 1,200 elementary, middle and high school students. More than 60 percent of our students are eligible for free-and-reduced lunch, and we have a strong record of sending our graduates to college. Our campus includes a 100,000 sq. ft. building, athletic fields and well-landscaped grounds.

Our innovative “hybrid” school design personalizes learning to each student’s needs through blended learning that combines the best of face-to-face instruction using highly trained teachers and proven methods with the best of online learning using adaptive software. In addition to a rigorous college prep academic program, the school offers art and music, physical education, character education, technology instruction, career readiness courses, transportation, athletics and other extracurricular programs.

Rocky Mount Prep is accredited by AdvancEd and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and the school’s charter agreement is with the North Carolina State Board of Education.
