Rocky River Nature Park

Rocky River Nature Park is operated by the Rocky River Conservancy (RRC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit conservation organization of Anderson, South Carolina, USA, which in association with Anderson University, are conservators of this natural resource. Your tax deductible donation enables the RRC to continue development and implementation of its long range master plan for this wonderful natural resource organized for the benefit of Anderson, South Carolina’s Upstate, and the world.
Mission
The Mission of the Rocky River Conservancy (RRC) is to rehabilitate and sustain the Rocky River Nature Park as a sanctuary for humans and wildlife alike, as an economic development asset to the Upstate community, as an extraordinary green oasis where students of all ages and families can learn about nature, enjoy the many benefits of being outdoors and grow in appreciation of our bounty.
Description
Rocky River Nature Park consists of beautiful natural habitat along Cox Creek and the Rocky River within the Greater Anderson, South Carolina area. This wildlife sanctuary contains hardwood and mixed forests, extensive wetlands, several miles of the Rocky River and a rich diversity of wildlife habitats.
