The school was designed by Robert E. Des Lauriers and built in 1965. Three instructional pods of six classrooms each, a kindergarten wing, 2 portable classrooms and an administration wing that includes an auditorium, cafeteria, and library characterize the physical plant. Rohr School went through an extensive modernization process during the summer of 2004. The school is located in the southwest part of Chula Vista, approximately four miles from the Mexican border, in an older established community of mostly single-family residences. The school’s program offers a Common Calendar July to June calendar.
