Rome Sailing Club

We have all types of sailboats ranging in size from 16 to 30 feet. We have in water slips, a dry sailing parking area, and storage parking.Rome Sailing Club is a sailboat only club, with only one exception; the Race Committee pontoon boat for race day!

Our social activates like our annual Commodores Ball, Fish Fry, Steak Cook Out and the Low Country Boil are as good as our racing. We hold 3 race series a year (spring summer and fall ). Each series is comprised of nine races for over 3 weekends. In addition, the Rome Sailing Club sponsors Lake Weiss DIYRA Regatta in late August. Racers from all over the southeast.
