Ron Taylor and Sons Auctioneering and Real Estate Sales

Ron Taylor is a first generation Auctioneer and Real Estate Broker, but with three sons, he may not be the last. Ron and his wife Paula, live on a fifty acre farm in the Inez community of Warrenton, North Carolina.

After spending three years in the US Army, Ron started his professional career in the insurance and investment business in 1974 with the Prudential Insurance Company in Raleigh, NC before starting his own agency in 1980.

In 1978 Ron receives the coveted Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) professional designation and in 1983, the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation.

In 1999 he left the insurance and investment business and started the parent company, The Restorer, Inc., as a real estate management and investment company. He became licensed as a real estate broker in 2005 and as a professional auctioneer in 2007. His company conducts auctions (residential/commercial/personal property) throughout the state of North Carolina and Virginia.

In 2010, Ron started a new division of his company, Taylor Estate Sales and Services, to meet the needs of senior citizens who need to downsize, move and/or sell their real and personal property.

In 2011, Ron received the Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate (AARE) professional designation. In March 2017, Ron completed his three year requirement for the Certified Auctioneer Institute (CAI) professional designation. He is a candidate to receive the Certified Estate Specialist (CES).

In addition, Ron is a member of the National Association of Auctioneers (NAA), the Auctioneer Association of North Carolina (AANC), the local, state and National Association of Realtors.

Ron previously served on the Board of Directors for the Auctioneer Association of North Carolina.

They conduct business throughout North Carolina and Southern Virginia.
