Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas

Founded in 1985 on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas has supported 17,000+ families by providing them with 100,000+ room nights at the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms located in Central Texas.

In addition, support programs such as the Happy Wheels Carts stroll the hallways of five area hospitals bringing complimentary items to families waiting by their child’s bedside, and the Healing Hearts program which supports families with burial assistance and bereavement support after the loss of a child, are also offered throughout the Central Texas area. These programs provide much needed support and save families thousands of dollars in lodging and food expenses alone with some families needing 100+ days of lodging.

As partners in enabling family-centered care for three decades, RMHC CTX strives to be part of the solution in improving the lives of children and their families by providing programs that strengthen families during difficult times.
