Roots QC

Roots QC will start Missional Communities (MC) throughout the QC. There are people who do not know or experience the reality that they are loved by their God, that God wants us to experience true community and that God created us with a mission and purpose. These MCs will be a place where people will know they are Loved, they Belong, and they have Mission. Many issues in the Quad Cities are because people do not know they are loved, who do not have community, nor who have a sense of purpose. Just imagine what the QC will look like if it was full of people who experience Love, Community, and a sense of purpose. These MCs will also raise up leaders. As a result, we see in the next 3 - 5 years we will raise up dozens of guides who will in turn take hundreds on a journey of a lifetime. Not a vacation but a transforming trip: biblically fueled, relationally charged leadership development process. The adventure will focus on Jesus and what it means to follow him. We will not stop this program until we plant Missional Communities throughout the Quad Cities. The Missional Communities will be centers of hope where people will know they are loved, they belong, and they have a mission in a world where they don’t experience this reality. We see MCs and its leaders being agents of change in the areas they are located, serving their communities with authentic love. We see neighborhoods turned upside down by the unexplainable kindness and authentic love of these leaders and MCs. We envision a dozen MC “life-rafts” pulling from the ocean of crowded loneliness in the QC. We see a platoon of people moving around the QC to start new MCs and eventually new churches.
