Roots Through Recovery is an outpatient treatment center in Long Beach specializing in the treatment of substance dependence and co-occurring mental health. We provide individualized treatment in both small groups and one-on-one counseling to ensure the delivery of effective, personalized care.

We are trauma-informed in our practice and our Masters-level clinicians specialize in treating underlying trauma from a holistic approach to treat the “whole person”, incorporating meditation and mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, DBT, yoga, art therapy and nutrition. Our team of compassionate experts have years of experience developing individualized treatment programs based on the unique needs of each client. Case management, life skills development and ongoing support is wrapped into our model for care in an effort to create sustainable life change.

All of our clients are encouraged to join a recovery community that aligns with their personal and spiritual beliefs, and regularly attend meetings such as 12-step, SMART, Celebrate and Refuge. We realize there is no singular path to recovery and while we promote and encourage abstinence, we are inclusive of all those in need of treatment and meet people where they are in recovery.
