Ross Cottages are located in downtown Eustis and we are fortunate to have a private compound of sorts! Enjoy historic downtown Eustis and enjoy our property! There is a lake situated in our backyard which offers respite from the hustle and bustle of city life and quite the array of wildlife and bird watching…… Such as Egrets and Ospreys! Ahhhh – the name of our cottages! We also own and live in The Heron Cottage to the north of our fully-furnished cottages! Our Ross Cottages property offers guests an opportunity to experience the “real” Florida of nature and the wildlife but still have the convenience of a quaint and historic downtown! Our family and guests enjoy the porch swing in the evenings where one can enjoy a beverage while watching the various birds such as Eagles, Ospreys, Herons, Egrets come to feed or roost! Enjoy the large RV Pavilion with patio tables, gas grills – all overlooking the lake in the back! We even see alligators quite regularly! We will have to name our oversized (boat and RV friendly) driveway Alligator Alley!

Ross Cottages are located just two blocks (fun walk!) from Lake Eustis and its scenic boardwalk that is over the lake along the downtown Eustis Ferran Park border! Eustis has monthly street parties (first Friday of every month) and monthly car shows (last Saturday) which boasts bands and food vendors. There are other events that happen downtown throughout the year too. Restaurants and shops and the waterfront park/boardwalk and the street festivals make our location a great spot to walk or bike to/from downtown! If you want more hiking or swimming at some beautiful natural springs, we are located just south of the famous Ocala National Forest. If you want more theme park action like Disney or Universal, you can head south towards Orlando and find those attractions a pleasant 45 minute drive away! Then if you want some beautiful beach bumming, we are about an hour from each coast! If you love to boat like we do, you'll love the proximity to the Harris Chain of Lakes which Lake Eustis is one of the lakes on this chain and one of many boat ramps is a mile close!

Ross Cottages offer some jalopy bicycles for guests use to bike around Eustis and we are happy to loan you some coolers or lawn chairs for your further adventures! Please come for a visit and enjoy our little slice of paradise! You will find our cottages very well maintained, extremely clean, and thoroughly stocked so that you can easily make yourselves at home!
