Trattoria Fanny is a simple, rustic, casual restaurant, the likes of which Italians eat in every day in every town and city in Italy. It is named for my grandmother, Fanny Levi (née Leoni) was born in Milan in 1908 and had to flee in 1939. She was an elegant and classy woman, mother of five, and a fantastic home cook. This trattoria is an homage to her.
