Company Overview:
The Rotary Club of Ojai West has many charitable interests locally and throughout the world. The vast majority of those interests are funded by the Ojai Wine Festival, a non-profit event sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ojai West’s Foundation, a 501 C (3) entity. Rotary members unite at home and across the globe to put our experience and knowledge to work tackling our most pressing challenges. We focus our efforts in six areas: promoting peace, preventing diseases, providing access to clean water and sanitation, enhancing maternal and child health, improving basic education and literacy, and helping communities develop.

We are especially dedicated to ending polio in our lifetimes. Rotary members have persevered in this fight since 1979 and have now helped eradicate polio in all but three countries worldwide.

When you give to Rotary, you support the work we do in your community and around the world. We are a responsible organization that uses nearly 90% of our funding for program expenses.


Mission:
To make contributions to and to otherwise aid charitable organizations and charitable activities designated by this corporation or the Rotary Club of Ojai West and described in the section 5.01(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. To directly engage in and carry on programs for charitable and education purposes.

The Rotary Club of Ojai West's Mission Statement is:
We begin the second quarter century maintaining and expanding our current projects while identifying and developing new opportunities to sustain a greater segment of both our community and international efforts.

Through our member's diverse passion and commitment to build a greater partnership with our community and international efforts, public awareness of those projects will build service, membership and fundraising success.

The Rotary Club of Ojai West is a member of a volunteer

organization of 1.2 million business and professional leaders united worldwide

to provide humanitarian service and help build goodwill and peace. About

32,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries conduct projects to address

today’s challenges-including illiteracy, disease, hunger, poverty, lack of

clean water, and environmental concerns- while encouraging high ethical

standards in all vocations.
