INSTRUCTOR: TJ Thomas
TJ has not only been certified through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation®, but has also completed extensive training through Harley-Davidson® and the Rider’s Edge® Academy of Motorcycling, as well as Network Quality Instructor training through Harley-Davidson.

As a Rider’s Edge Coach, TJ enjoyed 6 years at the Cycle Connections dealership helping students achieve their dream of learning to ride a motorcycle. He dedicated his last year at CC to training their newest team of instructors.

TJ also spent time over the last 6 years on the range at the Crowder College as an MSF instructor before opening Route 66 Motorcycling Safety Class
He also has worked with Harley-Davidson dealerships in Missouri, Kansas and Texas. He is currently also a Rider’s Edge Coach for Worth Harley-Davidson in Kansas City, MO. TJ has over 45 years of riding experience, the last 6 being an instructor.

PROGRAM MANAGER / INSTUCTOR: Bailey Goodall
Bailey, a proud owner of a Honda Shadow 750, has been through the Rider’s Edge course and has served as program manager for Route 66 MSC since its conception. This year, Bailey joined TJ as a certified instructor upon her completion of the Basic RiderCourse RiderCoach Preparation Course conducted by Missouri Motorcycle Safety Program. Over 40 people sent applications for acceptance into the program and Bailey was one of only twelve accepted for this year!


Students are required to wear:
Long pants, preferably jeans
Long sleeved shirt or jacket
Full-fingered gloves
Sturdy, over-the-ankle boot
Eye protection
DOT approved helmet

Students must be 15 and a half and must have parent/guardian signature.

Once students have completed the course and passed evaluations they will be given a completion card. The completion card will entitle Missouri riders to skip the skills test when seeking your motorcycle endorsement.
