Rowan Oak

William Faulkner’s home, Rowan Oak, is open to the public 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Note: Rowan Oak summer hours: June 1 through August 1, Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m

The grounds at Rowan Oak are open without charge from dawn to dusk daily.

A $5 fee per visitor over the age of 12 is charged for house admission.

Guided tours are available by appointment only. Please call 662-234-3284 to arrange for a guided tour.

Directions: Follow the highway signs for the University Museum. Once you are off the highway, look for the signs to Rowan Oak.
