As a child I always had a unique interest in my grandmother's secret recipes. It was at that moment I realized I wanted to become a sugar connoisseur. Let's face it, is there anything better than seeing a child smile while eating a cookie? I started my passion for all things sweet when I was very young sitting in my grandmother's kitchen. She would bake one of her famous cakes as my brother and I waited to lick the bowl. I continued my love for sweets throughout my life. I have attended baking and pastry classes at the Culinary Art Institute followed by working at Godiva and It'Sugar for several years.
