Rudy's Tenampa Taqueria was founded in 1993 by Rudy and Margie Garcia, along with their children. Rudy's mother, Dora Garcia, created the recipes for most of the food that is still being served today! After almost 22 years of business, Rudy's Tenampa Taqueria is still the number one place in all of Kansas City to enjoy delicious Mexican cuisine.

The restaurant is run by Rudy and Margie's children; Anthony Garcia, Jo Ann Garcia, and Antoinette Aragon. The children of Anthony, Jo Ann, and Antoinette are also very involved in making Rudy's the best it can be.
