RUN Patrol is lead by Jennifer Arute Jones - a long time Brambleton resident who is an avid runner and triathlete, a run coach, and an AFAA certified Group Fitness instructor.
Jennifer has participated in sports most of her life, but really became an avid athlete as an adult. She began running after college as an inexpensive way to stay fit and healthy and through the years has competed in running races ranging from 5K's to marathons - most recently in April 2016 completing the Boston Marathon. Always aspiring for a new challenge, several years ago she branched into the triathlon world as well. As a swimmer in high school and former swim coach, this turned out to be a good fit, and since then she has completed several sprint, Olympic, and half-ironman distance triathlons.
Through Jennifer's own athletic training and desire to improve her own performance, she has gained valuable knowledge that she passionately shares with those she coaches. She is also AFAA certified, has been coaching running since 2010, and is a Group Fitness instructor at Lifetime Athletic-Loudoun County.
Jennifer is passionate about motivating and helping others to reach their own personal fitness goals - whether it be to PR in a race or just to include fitness as part of a healthy lifestyle!
