Russian Creek Vineyards

Russian Creek Vineyards is located in the Potter Valley AVA. The Russian Creek runs along the north side of the vineyards and flows into the East Fork of the Russian River between vineyards blocks 4 and 5. There are a total of five blocks varying in size from about 5.5 to 7.5 acres. Quality Chardonnay and Merlot grapes are produced for sale. Current clients include award winning wineries in Mendocino and Sonoma Counties California and local small scale/home wine makers. There is a full compliment of vineyard equipment - the Gregoire harvester is also rented. The vineyard is managed by Nicholas Simmons, a graduate student in viticulture and enology at the University of California Davis who also has a degree in chemistry. The property that is now known as the Russian Creek Vineyard has been growing grapes for at least 30 years and although we do not know the full history walnuts and hops have also been grown commercially.
