Our site is one of just two in the nation where everything is located the same site. We have President Rutherford B. Hayes' 31-room mansion, the presidential library with his diaries and papers, a museum and the president's tomb. This is all located at Spiegel Grove, the president's 25-acre estate in Fremont Ohio. The estate includes a mile of paved walking trails.
New museum exhibit galleries will be installed in early 2016 and opened May 28 during our grand centennial celebration!
The home was restored in 2012 to how it appeared when President Hayes, First Lady Lucy Webb Hayes and their family lived there.
Come curious and leave amazed!
