Ryan's Rest is the perfect setting for relaxation or adventure. Get away from it all while being less than 10 minutes from golf, Linville Caverns, Linville Gorge, and the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. The city of Marion, with grocers and stores is 15 short miles away and the towns of Newland, Boone, Blowing Rock, Spruce Pine, and Little Switzerland are all within 30 miles. There are several wineries within a short drive and the micro breweries in Asheville are less than an hour.

Ryan's Rest has a fully screened in front deck with views of six mountain ranges all the way to Mt. Mitchell. This deck offers a relaxing sitting area to enjoy the views or read, as well as a dining area that seats six. The rear patio deck is a great place to grill or just relax under the trees. An outdoor fire pit available and there are two large driveways with plenty of parking and a 27' private RV roof for the experienced RV'er who needs a place to park.

The upstairs bedroom at Ryan's Rest offers a full private bathroom and a king bedroom suite. The main level has a large bedroom with a queen bedroom suite. The downstairs full bathroom has an old fashioned claw foot tub with shower attachment. The open kitchen with new appliances, dining area, and living room allow for entertaining in style. The laundry room is private and not exposed.

Bring the kids and still relax! Ryan's Rest has an outdoor bunk house located just off the back deck with a private entrance. It offers 2 sets of bunk beds, a futon, and a television for video games or movies. This is a great place for the kids to enjoy themselves, as well as space for additional guests.
