I was first introduced to the art of stained glass when I was living in my dorm at WVU. There was an art/craft center in the basement of the dorm that was free to use for students. It had clay, kilns, and a bunch other creative outlets. The one that caught my attention was the glass area. So I started making glass and was taught by other creative types working with glass.
While learning and developing my skills, I found the process to be very meditative and began to become addicted to the cutting and grinding of glass. It became an outlet. Therefore once I embarked on my adult life and had some extra cash flow, I invest in my own tools and started making more and more glass.
Eventually, I became good enough that people started requesting custom pieces, and boom my little shop started up.
While most of the time I just make new pieces because of something that inspired me, I do work with you to come up with a design that will work best between your desire and expectations, and budget within the time frame I can deliver.
Thanks for hanging out with Nala and I as we continue exploring our creative minds and expanding Saasational Glass!
