Sacred Space: Bodywork for Women

Sacred space is a physical and energetic meeting place where the body, mind and spirit come together to realize personal and divine grace. A sacred space is a safe place to explore yourself and your connection to your inner divine and any outer divine you experience. It requires trust and compassion. It requires a listener, supporter, confidante, guide, holder of space. In sacred space, you feel cared for, nurtured, loved as you are. You know you are perfect just as you are and everything is as it should be. You feel body acceptance through the process. You receive body knowledge. You get in your body, feel emotion in your body. You find releases in your body and then your mind finds clarity. You float through ideas and move into spirit. The integration is yoga, and being on the table is like having yoga done for you. Joseph Campbell said sacred space is “a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are or might be.”
