Sadie's Place for Veterans' Arts

A few acres of small businesses and studios for the arts, where Veterans come together in fellowship and work side by side, toward emotional and financial stability after active duty. That's Sadie's Place for Veterans' Arts.

Our purpose is to identify creative goals a Vet might be passionate about, which they can work on using their current post-service skill-sets. This could be in business, or the arts, or both. We aim to be the best place to match Vets with the partner they might need in order to reach their particular artistic goal.

Small businesses and art studios on our campus will be owned / operated by Veterans. We'll have 3D prototyping space, fine art studios, culinary arts workspace, and music performance. Our campus is dog-friendly, and on the public side will offer convenient retail shopping, service providers, and family friendly entertainment.

With a variety of small businesses and studios on a campus with a centralized Human Resources initiative, we facilitate a variety of very short-term and longer-term work opportunities for a variety of Veterans. A byproduct is a variety of vet-to-vet mentoring possibilities. Additionally, veterans who use prosthetics or exoskeletons have the opportunity to share their knowledge and coach students of biomedical engineering who need to complete the internship phase of their studies.
